What is EMS S7 XPI?

EMS S7 XPI is the 7th generation engine control system, an advanced ECU applied to Scania engines using the XPI (Extra High Pressure Injection) fuel injection system for Euro 6 and above engines.

Precautions When Replacing Injectors

  • XPI injectors have unique codes (ID codes) → must be correctly entered into EMS S7 when replaced
  • Incorrect entry prevents fuel calibration → leads to combustion issues → power loss/inspection failure
